There are some videos out there (eg www.youtube.com that suggest the Dyson ball doesn't have basic suction. This is of course not true, and any vacuum that doesn't suck must have a blockage or other problem. This video shows a 2-year old Dyson Ball DC15 sucking a piece of paper. The bin is also half full of dirt. You can see that the Dyson vacuum has all the suck you'd expect and can hold the paper even when shaken vigorously. Always look for objective, repeatable evidence from many sources before making a judgement about what people may show you. Dyson vacuums really are classy and market leading products.
